The band line-up is now coming together!
Captain Paisley is a Sonoma County-based band dedicated to recreating the heady days of the late 60’s, when every week brought amazing new boundary-pushing songs to the radio, including the “psychedelic” music from the Fillmore Auditorium and Woodstock.
They perform the classic songs of the period by groups including The Beatles, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, CSN&Y, Donovan, The Moody Blues, Spirit and Traffic in the spirit of the 60’s, with energy and abandon.
The James Stafford Trio pays homage to great songs spanning the many generations of jazz, blues and other popular styles birthed during the 20th century. Starting with the essential foundation of strong, danceable rhythms the group sheds light on the historical diversity of improvisational music and it’s fresh potential in modern context. James, Cody Anderson and Steve Froberg enjoy navigating the emotional harmonics of song, opening your ears and moving you to groove. James Stafford, Drums, Cody Anderson, Guitar, and Steve Froberg, Bass.
